You know in the first level in SMBTDX there is leafs falling in the BG, I want to know how to program that.

Er....thatīs one of the simplest things in the world.Create an object,set its sprite,make another object,set its step event to do the following action with a chance and create the object at x=view_xview[0]+300 y=view_yview[0].

You could just edit Titan dweevil's example to only one leaf going in one horizontal direction, and I think that would fit what you want.
