Here's the problem:

Ctrl is pressed, add one to counter "Colour"

o Only one action when the event loops
+ Counter "colour" = 1
- Create "Blue" at 0,0 (Player)

Now, it looks as though there's nothing wrong with that... until it starts duplicating like mad.

Each event follows the same pattern- upon creating the new form, destroy all the others-
However, it ignores this- and instead makes many many clones.

the counter goes up to 5, and after pressing Ctrl when it hits 5, goes back to 1 (blue)

But why is it cloning?

you might need to post the MFA or clarify your problem more... by "clones" i can't tell if it's creating duplicates of the same color or just leaving the old colors without destroying them

also i don't know where your Destroy action is

Ok, so basically:

It keeps the clones, Destroys the clones, CREATES MORE CLONES:
i put a counter at the side, it always does this
No. of Group player"player" :5 and then, upon pressing CTRL
It goes to 10/11/12, then back to 5... however, there's only supposed to be ONE object in play.

When ever something is created, EVERYTHING else is destroyed.

Oh and, it replaces the clones with the new form

(Eg 5 blue become 5 red)

if your Destroy actions are after your Create actions, you might want to try moving them up above the Create actions

Create modifies object selection... but if it went this far it'd be pretty unusual

basically what i sent to flametale:

MMF doesn't destroy objects the instant it reads a Destroy action; instead it waits until after it hits the end of the event list

so things get weird if you have something like:

Upon pressing "Shift"
--> Object A - Destroy
--> Create: "Object A"

and expect it to work like you want
