I need a program that modifies the graphics engine, Of a game

Regular Group: Members Posts: 196 Member No.: 3740 Joined: 7-May 07 Status: (0d)	My friend told me about a program once that lets you check and uncheck certain features of the games graphics engine so its more compatible with the graphics card your using. Some of the features it does is removes the need for pixel shaders from the video crad, removes complex effects and stuff like that. I dont know the name for it or what catagory it would fall under so i cant find it myself. Does anyone know what i mean or what im talking about? Help would be appreciated.
