QUOTE (Saberie @ Jun 7 2008, 08:28 PM)
Even if he was a genius and was doing this by his own actions and knew it was completely wrong of him to do so; the teacher should have done something else. I remember in my old school the people who disrupted the class too often had to sit outside of the classroom, that way, he'd be getting punished and wouldn't be disrupting the class.

Sitting outside of a classroom?

LOL

Please, I'd BEG for that.

Not knowing is no reason for your past actions now?

well with diseases like that so common these days, its safer to assume that your students have something like that when they act so disruptful

Where I live, the average temperature is 80-90 F, and the winters range from 10-40 F, Since I was in kindergarden; the majority of the classrooms were in trailers, we sat outside, that was punishment to us, or at least to me, because most of the time, the teacher would 'forget' that I was out there. (they didn't exactly like me because it was a Christian school and my family didn't go to church.)

Not saying that that's punishment to him or anything. nope.gif
But it would definately take care of the distruptions in the class.

It's more of a psychological method. Anybody that walks by knows why a child sitting in the hallway knows why he or she is there. Like punishment by humiliation. In a busy school, it can be pretty effective.

Until the kid turns it into a popularity thing.

"Cool kids get in trouble at school." Pretty soon the entire class is being retarded because it's cool.

Yeah thats true. But at early ages it's just an open opportunity for ridicule.

Especially when the principal walks by and talks to you. That's what happened at my school when I got sent outside.

blah blah blah

so why is it that while your autistic sister can't speak a word, this other supposedly autistic boy goes around and throws crayons and **** around?

She has terrible judgement as well. One time she smeared **** all over her room. Another time she smeared baby cream all over her room and it took 6 hours to clean.

No, with the exception of her epilepsy, she is autistic and that's that.

You look ridiculously stupid and it is generally considered stupid if you wear shoes on the wrong feet.
