Pokémon Scarlet - CANNED, a Pokémon platformer made in Game Maker

You could try Poke'mon Teal,Torqouise,Heliodore(Yellow gemstone), or morganite (Pink Gemstone, hasn't been a color used in the poke'mon series.)
This game looks pretty Appealing, I like it.

You ought to use josh's sprites from the spriters recource.

They would work better than pmd sprites because they are meant for 2d games.

They're completely custom, so they would look uniqe.

No, but I didn't realize that you were making all of them.

Most of them. A few will be left out for various reasons:

Ditto - Too hard to make work without mistakes and errors.
Arceus - Too powerful...
Evolutions that require Day or Night (Espeon, Umbreon, ect.) - This game has no day and night :P
Evolutions that require specific locations in D/P (Magnezone, Leafeon, ect.) - This game is not in the Sinnoh region.
Evolutions that require trade (Golem, Gengar, ect.) - Unless I implement online trading, this wont happen.
Evolutions that require happiness (Blissey, Chansey, ect.) - I might include happiness. If not, this wont happen.

Of course any evolution found in the wild that requires trading (Steelix can be found in D/P) can still be found. Pretty much every PKM not on the list will be in.

I just remebered the name of something. Amethyst. I wonder if anyone has ever used that...

So why are you going to make Pokemon unavailable simply becasue they're not in the wild in an official game? This is a fan game, no need to follow the EXACT rules of the official games.

Also Game Maker has functions for checking the time.

Also, you can put in the link cable item from Mystery Dungeon, smartness to replace happiness, also from Mystery Dungeon, and you can always make different places for the "level at location" evolutions.

Sounds nice, but this game uses the Kanto starters, so I wanted to use a colour for the name, not a rock or gem or periodic element(Gold lol).

the game sounds real cool. can't wait for the demo, seriously, ive got to do something all the time or my head explodes. Pokemon + Sidescroller = Awesome
And, I just want to know, do think your going to add online? Just a question.

The official games have done colors and precious minerals (ruby, sapphire, gold, silver, diamond, pearl). How about states of matter for the game name?
