Pokémon Scarlet - CANNED, a Pokémon platformer made in Game Maker

Well if it doesn't fit the GameBoy games very well, but you want a custom title, and there is no Nightime, you could always try "Poke'mon Daylightyellow. Or something like that.

I have a question:

Have you gone so far as to devise a basic plotline for the game? If so, will it be rather serious and dark, or will it be almost like a fanfiction related the PKMN franchise? I've just thought about using times of day as possible names it it were to have a darker theme:

Pokémon Dawn
Pokémon Summit (a description of the time of day in which the sun is in the highest point of the sky: Noon)
Pokémon Twilight

If not, then fancy color names I would suggest, all taken from the names of the towns in Kanto:

Pokémon Vermilion
Pokémon Cinnabar
Pokémon Indigo

Marked. Actually I have to better idea,and scarlet sounds like a NAME.

How about a portmanteau of a color and something else? Like some of the town names in one of the versions.

And yes I have a storyline. Its dark. Lets just say this: you dont find any trainers in this game.

Since you've confirmed that it's a dark storyline with no trainers, then how about something unconventional?

Pokémon Dynasty
Pokémon Chronicles
Pokémon: Civil Unrest (going off your storyline idea and initial description)
Pokémon: Rebel Factions (if, in fact, there will be different factions of PKMN fighting with each other)
Pokémon: Interspecies Struggle

PKM Chronicles was a TV show...

Those names don't fit The Pokemon Style even if it is dark.

What would be a good suggestion, then?

Ive run into a gravity problem with wild PKM, but once I get that fixed, it wont be long before the demo.

Great, because I've been wanting to try this out! I know alot of GML, so if you need help you can PM me about your problem.

Except I use GM 4.3. Its actually alot different from GM 6 or GM 7. So different, infact, that GM 4.3 files wont open in GM 6 or 7.

Unless of course you also use GM 4.3, in which case you might be able to help. But its ok, ill figure it out eventually.

Why use such an outdated software? You must know every aspect of GML in 4.3 i'm assuming.
