can you make it so that the pokemon are controlled with WASD instead?

This game is promising! It felt good to catch that Pidgy.

I just wish the pokemon was controlled by WASD

WASD?
I guess you want that because you use the mouse.

Ok in the next demo WASD will be an optional control scheme.


EDIT: Now that I think about it, attacking would be hard if you used WASD to move around. I won't bother with it.

I have played this demo with restart button, the pokeball can catch Pidgey with full health and I do not know how to start a battle versus Rattata.

You can catch pokemonnwith full health in the real pokemon games, too. It just depends on their catch rate.

also, Rattata isn't in this demo.

Can i help with tiles?

Yes, actually there are a few things I need help with:

16x16 tiles (Grassland, Cave, Beach, Volcano, ect.)
A sprite for the PKM Box (the computer) on the field.
A 640x480 background image for Day and for Night (Yes, I've decided to implement the Day-Night system)

Anybody providing me with any of these things will get their name in the credits.

Also, I didn't realize you were MAKING the sprites. I though you were just searching for them...

Its my first name, And im making the tile sets,
Here is a sample, ( they are only a dime of the way there as i need different colers, And more tiles all together, And to make them blend with the sprites )

would you mind giving me a link to the pokemon sprites?

If these tiles suck to bad, i understand and will make it over again, but remember its a wip.

The tiles are nice, but yes they need alot of work.
Here are the PKM Mystery Dungeon Sprites I am using.
Also, please put the tiles in a grid layout when you are done.

You know, Joshr's custom Pokemon sprites would go good with this platform game. They can be found on Spriters Resource also. Maybe if you got permission you could use them.

Those look nice, but they don't fit the style very well... I can use them as a placeholder until iceinwar finishes I guess.
EDIT: Sorry, I tried them but they dont fit in at all. They look too much like the generic platformer tiles that come with gamemaker.
