Marvin, My created sprite!

Obviously, I've only done the head so far. Still needs some work... and any advice for the hair (shading especially) would be greatly appreciated! I am having some trouble with it. Thanks! Man... I was ugly! clears thoughts I'm still working on the contrast of the hair... I've always had that problem while working on him. I tried a somewhat weird/different shading style with the hair... no clue where I got the idea. I'm going to be gone from the 27th to late July 4th. Please leave some comments; I need as much advice as possible. Thanks! Still having some problems with it... but I'm doing better than I was before. Known problems- 1) Head is big- This I thought about for awhile but after looking at several other sprites on MFGG, I realized that many of their heads were large as well. 2) Shading on shirt- Yeah... kinda weird. I could never really get it to work well but this was my best attempt. 3) Right hand- I never could get it to look right so I just made it a robotic one for the time being. 4) Pant shading- Same as shirt shading... blah I really need some advice on this one... I'm stuck at the moment.
