Yeah, I've got a huge problem in Game Maker 6.1 Registered.

I keep on getting stuck in the wall and I can't figure out why.

I've uploaded the source code, hopefully somebody can help me out.

Okay it's all better now, I fixed it. Thanks, Grant!

Oh and uh everybody who downloaded the file could you please delete it if you haven't already because I don't want to see any other games made with the engine. It ruins the uniqueness of it. Plus I just hate pre-made engines in most cases.

I think the problem lies in your use of image_xscale in obj_dex's Step event.

Apparently flipping the image flips the mask as well, and the origin of the mask isn't exactly in the center.

I could be wrong about this, but when I took out the parts about image_xscale, it worked fine (though of course the sprite was always facing the same way).

Hmm, well I was using that so I could use less sprites, and therefore take up less space in the game.

But, I s'pose I'll have to create mirrors of all the sprites, then.

Oops, wait!

Dang, I should have realized this and told you earlier. Sorry.

You don't have to make mirrored sprites if all you do is change the horizontal mask size to an odd-numbered value, and re-center the origin. It won't be uneven horizontally that way. But maybe you want the mask size to be very specific, so idk.

Okay, it's all better. I tried the odd-numbered width and re-center bit like Grant said. The last time I did that I forgot the origin was zero. So it was off.

So it's all better now.

And could everyone who downloaded the engine please delete it if they haven't already? I don't want to see any other games made with this engine, because it seems like you'd be taking advantage of me for uploading it. And that's not nice. It also ruins the uniqueness of the engine.
