Boom Bam Baby! In V0.2, I may have been the first(I dont know if I am, but UltraMario & Hello sure weren't)person to make the Coin Block sprout the same object as the Non-Coin Block Coin! AKA there's only 1 Coin, I combined the Coin and Coin Block Coin, unlike Ultra & Hello. PWNT
PS: There was a Emporer's New Groove Joke in there if you weren't paying attention.

Kool, this is looking great! You should add slopes though. I haven't noticed any glitches in a previous version. I'm about to download the new one now I guess. Oh, I don't watch the Emperor's New Groove, but thats quite simple to find. Lol

EDIT: Alrighty. I just tried the new one and I found a few minor things...
-?blocks are supposed to bounce up when you hit them.
-The coins hit out of the ?block should dissapear in the air, not fall back down.
-When you fall to the bottom and die, mario is supposed to go up and then fall to his horrible death.

3: Wrongo, in the official Games he DOES NOT bounce up then fall back down. He needs to STAY IN THE HOLE WHERE HE BELONGS! XD Seriously, I've seen several people complaining about him jumping out of the hole when he dies.

Hey Guys, I'm Zipping and Releasing V0.2.1 Now. I optimized the Coding to be a lot more Organized. It also has Sped Up Coin Destruction when it comes out out the Block. In V0.2.2 I will add in Block Bumping.

The physics work, although the timer doesn't stop... and falling offscreen doesn't kill you either.

Also, on the 2-week unbumped job thread, Thwomp Master also wanted to revamp sprites. Might want to check to see if he still wants it.

Again, If absolutely no one else will sign up for sprite revamp, I'll do it. Wow. That means I'll have every job except for level designer. I'd help with the custom powerups if they make it in.

(I'm a member of the Summer Work Adjustment Team at Goodwill, but that's basically all I really need to do for the summer. And it's a part-time job. I'm with the S.W.A.T. LOL.)

What?! Timer doesn't stop?! Hang on, let me check. And falling off-screen should kill you, it does on my end.
Edit: Please don't tell me the Timer not stopping was a Prank. I thought you meant it didn't stop when you die, but it does. XD

Black Boo, I dunno if you're intending to brag/show-off, but it really sounds like it.
Anyways, I made a simple platform engine that seems better than the both of you guys, and I haven't said anything about it except just now. I'm not saying it is better, I'm just saying you really shouldn't brag about your engine in someone else's topic.
I haven't seen yours updated either...

Anyways, with that said, OniLink10 this is looking good. Oh, yeah, I was wrong about mario coming back up and then falling to his death. I played SMW and saw he didn't do that.

We have a problem people. I'm trying to add in Coin Bouncing when it's hit by a Bouncing QBlock, and this is in the Collision with Dead Block Event:
CODE
//Collects Coin if QBlock is Hit
if other.hit=1
   {vspeed=-6;
   gravity=0.25;
   alarm[0]=20;}

Unfortunately, there is a weird error in GM7 that causes Mario to be stuck in the Ground Executing his Jump Event Uncontrollably when I add any Coins on top of QBlocks after I add this in. The Error continues when I remove the Coins from on top of the QBlocks and remove the Collision Event. Do you have any Idea what could be causing this? I bet you it's an error with GM7 itself, because I get this error a lot while programming the engine, and it's always for different things.
Symptoms:
1: Uncontrollable Jumping
2: Stuck in Ground
3: -1 Lives(I DIDNT SET IT TO THAT!)

1+2=Plays Jump Sound Uncontrollably, but you can't jump
3: mmk, How bout if lives<=0, that means that if lives<0 or lives=0.
Anyways, I found the source of Error. It had to do with the Create Event. I'll give you 1 guess.
Now I just have to fix the Wonky Lives before V0.2.3 is released.
Edit: Here's my Create Event:

Lives still equal -1. -_- Tis gettin annoyin
I'm releasing the Buggy Engine. I can't find anymore solutions. There are 2 Glitches:
1: Lives are Busted from Addition of Coin Bouncing
2: Coin Blocks Don't Bounce when there is a Coin on top.

YES! I FIXED THE LIVES GLITCH! Now we just need to fix the "Blocks don't Bounce when Coin is on Top" Glitch. I'll release V0.2.4 Tomorrow. It even has added 1up Sound. biggrin.gif
