Essentially the same as 5.1 but with a lot of re-wording and some extra stuffs. Might be worth reading again. There was a lot of vagueness in Yoshiman's revision. Might be a bit clearer now.

Worth noting as well is that avatars/signatures with images bigger than a Megabyte may be subject to removal without warning. The filesize may go up over time seeing as no doubt everyone's internet will get better, but 1MB seems reasonable for now. That being said, we'll be giving you a couple of days to replace them yourselves.

Right click ---> Properties

As long as you don't have big anigifs in there chances are you'll fall well under the 1MB limit.

Now it's okay to get away with petty insults.

Yeah, I don't agree with that. For one thing, it is a matter of opinion what a petty insult is. For another, us members look for whatever holes in the rules we can to get away with pissing each other off as it is.

Not a fan of being able to get away with petty insults, since those comprise a lot of the comments people get away with.

I mean, I know the REALLY petty insults and the ones that are obvious jokes are one thing, but there should sitll be a different bar set.

I'd highly reccommend removing that part. Enough insults of that stature can still be a bad thing and will lead to long-term harassment, which is a huge problem for the board.

Although I thought Yoshiman was a good mod/admin overall, I didn't really like that part of the rules much, which let people get away with minor flames. (It also made it more difficult to decide to report something or not.)

IMO all flames, even minor, should result in at least a verbal warning. Minor or not, they still contribute to a general atmosphere of asshattery that tends to put off the people more interested in having fun here.

Just out of curiosity, how many bytes are in a kilobyte? Because I may have to resize something in my sig.
