This is my entry to the current Minigame Competition: Shell Shocked! Fuzzies Stole Mah Shale! Edition

Story: Fuzzies have once again raided the Koopa Village! With Mario away on another frivilous errand, no one can stand up against the little caffeine-freaks but Kooper. Armed with his powerful Koopa Tank, Kooper must take out as many Fuzzies as possible!

Gameplay:
Fuzzies spawn from the trees and continually attack. Aim your tank's cannon and fire at them to take 'em out!
Gotcha!

Each Fuzzy has some HP, but once you've hit them enough, they're done for!

Of course, they definitely aren't harmless. Make sure they don't get you...

GAAHH! He got me!.

Some Fuzzies carry items! Toast them and you bag the item, too!
Look! A Fire Flower!

After you get an item, it is stored at the box in the top of the screen. Press the item button to use the item. Unfortunately, only one item can be stored at a time, so if you get an item while your item box is full, you'll be stuck with the one you had before...

Eventually, the Fuzzies might get you. When you get low HP, your Tank will start smokin'!
Can't...take...much...more!

Ok, why was this masterpiece of a game ignored?

This is seriously Amazing and everything works flawlessly. Controls are fluent, the game is very fun and items give it a nice touch. It also gets hard enough to not be easy to go on forever.

But one question remains: Will it top Delmore's entry?

I wanna say it has more depth than that, but there really isn't any. Items also spawn so frequently that they just make everything a lot easier. What REALLY bugged me was if there were fuzzies on the left and right, because there's no way to cover both sides due to how slowly you turn, plus getting frozen by the blue ones is REALLY irritating. The 3D stuff looks good at least, sounds are all really nice, and hey, great frame rate!

Yeah, I kinda realized that it gets old really fast...
I spent a bunch of time agonizing over how to fix it and make it more interesting, but I couldn't think of anything but more items... My biggest problem is that I planned everything except the fuzzies themselves.

But anyway, thanks for the positive comments...

BTW, another link is up, for those who can't get the other one...

Here are some "improvements" I (and a few others) have thought of that might make the game better:
-SSBM style continue (with coins, too)
-Make the fuzzies come from multiple directions, but only in front of the tank
-Fewer fuzzies?
-Actual shell item that could maybe mow down all enemies in the way
-A rare enemy that gives tons of bonus points, but doesn't actually attack the player?

Which of these would actually do some good?

And maybe I should give a description of all the items in the info...
