Don't know what you call it. I say gridlike walking, not usre if that's the correct name.

It's the kind of walking that's in pokemon games as well as most RPG's. Where when you press up you move up one space, down, down one space, etc and keep moving down spaces as you hold it.

How would I go about recreating this movement in MMF2?

the only grid-like game I can think of is fire emblem, if that's what you mean? because pokemon(and rpgs) are more isometric type. are there are alot of isometric tutorials and stuff

you know i made an engine for this like 3 years ago when i thought FE had that kind of movement

i'll see if i can find it

EDIT: obviously it was made in MMF1.5 but it should work in MMF2
