the release notes say it does something about it deleting unauthorized save files or some ****
whiiich means that it looks like they're trying to **** on the Twilight Hack that lets us run homebrew.

and it's not like this update brings anything useful (lets you drag mii's into the mii parade quicker, WOW) so yeah .

Wouldn't you have to get this update in order to get updates after this one, though? :s

Also I never had plans on doing Twilight Hack stuff, so personally I don't see a point in trying not to do it.

. not illegal

and homebrew isn't hard. put hacked zelda save onto SD card, copy to internal wii memory
put some homebrew on the SD card (like the "homebrew channel" installer: http://hbc.hackmii.com) named boot.elf
boot and run zelda, start game, talk to guy, bam homebrew running

it's cool stuff too
idk why nintendo has to be a ****in' douche and play the same cat and mouse game that sony's been playing with the psp. you'd think they'd learn
