If this Twilight Hack allows ROMs to be played, it's not surprising that Nintendo wants to get rid of it, and one can hardly be mad at them fairly for it.

Nintendo has no obligation to let people play free-downloaded copies of its own games on emulators put onto it with a hack, and deserve to be able to stop it in whatever way is practical (and doesn't encroach unduly on players, by messing up equipment or something).

Well, It appears that It dosen't do anything to the Homebrew Channel. So, If you want to be safe, one could simply download Twilight Hack, then the Homebrew Channel, and then preform the Wii update. You'll still be able to run homebrew games, that way.

Q & A

Can we reinstall the Twilight Hack after it deletes it?
Nope, you can't, it won't let you copy any invalid Twilight Princess saves.

Will it delete Homebrew Channel?
No, it won't delete it.

Is Homebrew Channel still working?
Yes. Only the Twilight Hack and things that exploit the Signing bug are affected.

Will this affect Homebrew Channel updates?
No, it will not.

Yes for Mario RPG (it runs at full speed), the same can't be said for Majora's Mask, the N64 emulator works, but is REALLY SLOW, and I think that the expansion pack games don't even boot at all.

There is a way to use the In-built N64 emulator to run some games though.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=lpfB9MqNHek

I never tried that, but this won't work with Majora's Mask either.

A modded Wii.

Which costs a lot of money and you have to ship off your wii to an undisclosed adress and wait for like 3 weeks

and it might break

so just buy tp, it's like 30 bucks nowadays.

then just get all the files you need blah blah blah

Brawl requires an update before you're able to play it, so probably yes.
