Help with ds phat, Hinge

NEED A NEW AVATAR Group: Members Posts: 378 Member No.: 3388 Joined: 2-March 07 Status: (0d)	I just recently bought a used ds for $20 from a friend so I've been trying to fix it up. First thing I noticed was the hinge which is badly cracked is there anyway to fix it without sending it to nintendo or buying a new shell? -------------------- Insert Signature

does it affect the way the screen flips? Please give more feedback on what the hinge causes problems for.

if you're really sloppy, yes

or you could just take the DS apart since it's more than likely out of warranty anyway, and glue the hinges while they're disconnected
