If 80% of the poses weren't jaggedy or just rotated/resized, and the animations were better this would be an alright sheet.

Nice sheet, those you placed too much emphasis on the hammer, IMO.

Here's my rants:

1) His Up Tilt is basically the same as Aerial Up.
2) Running and Sprinting are the same thing-ish in SSBB.
3) Too much rotation. It looks really ugly.
4) No backwards dodge roll? I expect them to be the same for PM, however.
5) In his down smash attack, his charging sprites should appear the same as the attack. Ex. In Super Smash Bros Brawl, whenever Mario using forward smash, he puts his hand in position so the minute he finishes charging, he releases his attack.
6) No back tilt.

1.)No. He tosses Koops' shell upwards. His Up Air is him spinning with his arms up like a mini drill.
2.)Well you get the point, do ya?

Well, just to mention something else, His Forward Smash and B hammer attacks appear too similar. This'll give a bit of an illusion that he has little move variety. His Lone B should involve something else other than a hammer, and there's a lot more interesting PM moves then just *smack* *smack*. I'm sure you would encourage people to possibly make it so that the Lone B hammer does special effects but there's so much more you can do. He could use Dashell (or w/e that Pixl's name is) and the longer you hold it, the farther and faster he goes in a direction for a set amount of time. It could be Thoreau which hits people when it comes in contact with them, and then sends them back at PM, allowing for some free hits with A, and could maybe even act as a 2nd throw. The possibilities are endless. You just need to find one.

You can just bump the old topic since you were updating it.

You should advantage of using blurs when he uses his hammer instead of just animating every single frame.

It's pretty good sprite sheet for a PM character though.

His victory pose ought to be one of the victory poses from PM 1 or 2.

I think you should do like a spring jump, and he just flies slowly down to the floor. That would work biggrin.gif

@Mr. M. That's a bit of a losing pose, No? If it was actually extended from his other poses, it would make more sense.

Well I know he does it when he wins, or narrowly escapes a loss or something. And the only pose I could see it extending from is his standard pose. It doesn't extend to anything.

But the 3rd one's added and I like it better than that anyway. biggrin.gif

EDIT: Oh, I just realized I was thinking of something else when I suggested that. My bad lol. Well it may have been an ok victory pose but what he has now is 10 times better.

pretty nifty. I recommend cleaning up the pixels of the transformed frames, though, like the rotated and resized ones. would make those animations look much better
