Well guys, what do you think?

The CFP has had a good run, but there are hardly any posts anymore.

DJ Yoshiman said when summer came people'd get active again, but it's actually died EVEN more. So where do we go from now?

A sticky? This huge forum isn't good for anything anymore- no one posts much each day, activity in the engine area has slumped to a minimum of a few people, and with all these spritesheets waiting, it seems that the gaming aspect of the CFP has basically died.

Another idea would be to have two stickies instead- a spriting one and a gaming one. That way, not as much space would be taken up and we'd still have a CFP going- probably at it's slow pace.

So what do you think admin/moderators? Is it time for the CFP to step down?

What of all our effort! Besides it can't die!

Whoever wants to not let it die should open his GM/MMF and make an engine.
Latia, you know one or two things about GM, so there you go.

I for my part tried to help, but from what i've seen my movement code was like ignored/destroyed lateron (something about Koopas not working on slopes, while they are supposed to use the same movement code as the goombas which they apparantly don't), so I don't see myself helping in it anymore.

I'm still for a simplier idea like Wario Ware...

EDIT: About the sprites that have been made for this... oh well. You could still submit them to the main site, maybe somebody uses them.

Right now the GM side has one (Not done but just saying)

The koppa shell bug was fixed thanks to mr. mouse

Well, what should we do? There isn't a thing being done, and I've already submitted a few sheets to MFGG.

Alright then, its dead. Somebody will hopefully continue it though, if anybody is willing to team up with me.

I'm sort of bored with this now. The reason I wanted to continue it was to have a really nice game with some of my sprites, and custom ideas and such from everyone, but no game is being made.

Same here. We had something kind of good going when we started the warioware game after Mechabowser got banned. But we gave up on that too it seems. But it still is more simple and we could give it another shot

I think the CFP is essentially dead and has been dead since before I even painted those concept drawings for the first world.



However, I will honor Yoshiman's word and will not submit a single sprite I have made to the main site until I see this subforum get deleted or the project completely changes directions.

if the game does get deleted does the sprites people made for CFP get to keep the spritesheet they made and ummm.... use it for like their own game
or do they like give it to the community to use since we used the style u guys made
