Paper Mario help, New question

Press A. Start means quit menu.

A checks there abilities

If you're playing Thousand Year Door, you're doing it right. Just enter the Party Screen, select the partner and press Start to exit.

PAPER MARIO
N64 or Wii
for Wii, try pressing ABXY or whatever.

Nope its the first one

Press C right or one of the C buttons. Then a Party menu comes up.

He knows how to get there,; he wants to change the partner.

There is some text on the bottom of the screen, C^ Scrolls up Cv scrolls down an the other do nothing

Press C> when you're out of the menu. Not in the menu. Or was that what you tried?

EDIT: If you do this, you should get up a small party member list to the right on the screen.

What? How would that help?

If I remember correctly, pressing C> outside the menu will open a CHANGE PARTNER menu, while the PARTNER SCREEN is just to view them.

Press C down when you´re out of the menu, a box with your current members appears. Press A on the member you want to change to.

That's what I was trying to say, but couldn't find the right words. Oh, and I thought it was C right, which was obviously wrong.

C down is what you press to use your partner's action.
C right is to change partners
C left is to use items
C up is to show the HUD
