Lately my computer suddenly started crashing every.. 15 minutes or something like that.
When it happens the screen goes blue for about 3 seconds and then it reboots.
Does anyone know what's causing this, and how to fix this?

also, I'm using windows XP

Thanks in advance

-Captain Flame Guy

(and it crashed while I was typing this, firefox just happened to save my message)

It could be a billion and one things. Anything you can suggest to narrow down the problem? Any recent system changes? Also check your event log, but off the top of my head perhaps you have a virus. Have you got any recovery disks for Windows or would you prefer to try and fx the problem?

Try turning it off for a while. Or cleaning out any dust that might be blocking some things.

* And have there been any power outs lately?

The turning off part will be done when I'm going to sleep. and I cleaned my computer of dust last month, so that should be fine..

* Well, 6 days ago my dad wanted to cut something, while it was still plugged in (haha), the electricity fell out.

Right click on My Computer, select Properties. Click the Advanced tab. Click the settings button under Startup and Recovery. Uncheck the "automatically restart" box. Next time your computer bluescreens, write down the error code for us.

Update your drivers. Is that nividia card new? If so you might not have enough power coming in through your power supply unit, how many watts is it and did it come with your case? (Or prebuilt computer).
