Learn alot of Math that is what I know at the least because Game Making requires alot of Math.

I'd imagine some form of art, considering that's involved.
take some computer science and programming courses as well
computer graphics/animation is an obvious one
also discrete math might be useful (especially graph theory)
I might also recommend looking into geometry as for mathematics. you should probably be taking calculus some time during college too.

see if the colleges you're looking at have study plans with a focus on video game design.

Math skills would definitely be important, since there is a lot of distance calculation involved in level design.
