| QUOTE (kirbyhi5 @ Jun 29 2008, 11:47 AM) | you can get a nice dell computer for around $500-600(maybe even laptop), with 120 gigs+, and 1.6 ghz +
my computer was bought for around $600 bucks and its specs are: Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 4000+ 2.10 GHZ 1,000 RAM 160 gigs
and i can run nintendo ds, n64, playstation, and MMF2/game maker emulation 100% fine |
1,000 RAM? What? I'm sorry, but there's nothing called 1,000 RAM. It might be 1GB RAM, but not 1,000 RAM. And if it was 1GB, it'd be 1,024MB RAM. You can't have 1,000 ANYTHING RAM. Lol. EDIT: My Computer could run Game Maker and Emulate NDS and N64 almost perfectly when it was new. It's Specs back then were: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.4GHz Processor with 512MB of RAM and a 120GB Harddrive. It should be pretty cheap now, considering it's old, but it's still moderately good. It can run N64 & NDS Emulators 99% Perfectly. Just can't use a Desktop Recorder on em or it encounters EXTREME Lag, unless ur using HyperCam2 and set Frameskip to 2. Then it'll only skip Frames where it causes Lag, and that should be less than 1/4 of the Frames.
