legally, EVERYONE has to obey the law, even the president/prime minister. on a forum, shouldnt mods and admins have to follow the rules too?

Exactly.

I very highly doubt that whatever image Ashura posted was bannable at all, but just generally speaking, mods ought to be subject to the rules just like anyone else, in order for hypocrisy not to be present in forum policy.

And as for the "reporting a mod" thing, reports get sent to every mod, I think, rather than just the one who posted the reported thing.


Really that's all I want to say here, though, because I've made my point, and already I fear I might be looking like I'm saying "aaah Ashura is a terrible mod!" when I'm not saying that. I still feel the same way about this, but hopefully this is just an isolated incident, etc.

Look he could have easily kept this report to himself. If they didn't find what I find offensive, it's okay I can't do anything about it.


But him posting my report just so he can make some fun outta me, just because I was reporting him, is not acceptable. This are supposed to remain between the moderators and the admins and me, nobody else.

But he decided everyone else should know.

The image in question wasn't pornographic or anything. Ashura didn't really do anything to warrant a report. Maybe it was a little suggestive, but it was pretty mild. It wasn't bannable, imo.

And maybe it wasn't the best thing to make this report public, and I can understand being upset to a certain degree, but when it all comes down to it, it's not really a huge issue. I can see where the report privacy thing comes into play, but we can all mooooove on, hm?
