nintendo ds emulator, blowing into the mircophone

So I was playing Lost in the Blue DS game, and It came to a point where I had to blow on the wood to start a fire. On the DS, you can blow inside a tiny hole. but since im on an emulator, im wondering if it is possible to blow inside a microphone.

I do not currently have a microphone(think i lost it somewhere), but I want to know if it'll work, so i can buy a cheap $10 microphone from radio shack or something today.

can u blow in a microphone, just like you can blow in a hole for ds.

the hole in the DS is a microphone. if the emulator properly supports it, then it should work similarly enough.

you could set the mic to a stereo mixer
then play some music
..that should do the trick
unless you're required to blow in special patterns

actually, I found my mic, and it does indeed work with the emulator. thanks for the replies
