I don't know what exactly happened, but I've heard that XP deletes all data when (un)installing.

when uninstalling Windows XP, you must of Deleted the Partitions.

Check the internals of your computer see how many HDDs you have, if you have one, then you merged all your partitions into one larger partition while deleting everything else.

If you have multiple, there is a chance the data is still there, and it's just disconnected, or you accidentally deleted the partition on it, and it is now a Unpartitioned drive, basically sitting there doing nothing.

Try this:
Start->Run->CMD
diskpart
list disk
select disk x (where x is the number you got from list disk)
list partition

Repeat x times, where x is the number you got from list disk.
I'd tell you exactly, but I don't understand whether you mean 2 partition or 2 hard drives.
Do you see your old partitions? If so, great, reply so I can guide you through the rest of this! If you don't, tough luck, sorry.
Example output

aa this broke
