Years ago, maybe not, but since childrens' media (such as book's and videos) has been released, it's been put among the ranks of other faerie tales in many people's minds.

At least that's what I think.

I was recreating one of the scenes when scrooge is introduced to Want and Ignorance.

FINALLY!

What I did this thing on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tale_of_the_Bamboo_Cutter

This was made in watercolor pencils, which I used for the first time, and GIMP, which I also used for the first time.

It's not great, but at least I finished!

(huge image simply because my scanner enlarges the scanned picture so I had to make the GIMP background fit them. And we all know re-sizing kills the pic. Also: Taaaaape.)
