I have a feeling every Nintendo character that has only appeared in one game (apart from the Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Mario Party series and game remakes) will be in.

It's not gonna be Japan only. Chibi Robo came out in America, and this one's going to use a bunch of nintendo characters, so I don't see why it wouldn't come out.

Because Chibi Robo under-performed

I mean Mother 3 never made it out of Japan even after a) Earthbound did and b) Ness appeared in two Smash games. If a game that's supposed to be "westernised" couldn't get out of Japan I doubt this will. I don't even expect they'll make it Europe only... I mean what's the appeal here? A very "gay" superhero and a bunch of minor Nintendo characters. Only the big Nintendo fans will be interested, and that's not a big market for Europe.

But I dunno, things may have changed now Nintendo's going for the "everybody can play" thing.
