SatAM and all the other things those stupid archie characters suck.

Not because the art or the stories are garbage (I mean the comics have lasted longer than STC) but because all the original characters are so god-damned awful I question why they haven't been scrapped. I mean STC put in a few originals but the main cast were all very "Sonic like" (and a couple were really just bigger versions of the animals you save). The archie characters are all hybrids, edits or just plain ugly.

I haven't watched the cartoon which is probably for the best. SatAM was only big in America - AoStH was a bit more popular over here (and for good reason IMO). If anything should be revived it should be that, but that's unlikely, especially since AoStH didn't have Knuckles, one of the "big" playaz

The Archie characters are also larger versions of the animals you save. In fact, they are also named after them.

StC did this with Johnny Lightfoot and Porker Lewis -- SatAM does this with Sally Acorn and ... somebody else, probably Bunnie.

The names of the original creatures are in the old-school game manuals.


Plus, the reason Archie characters are ugly is because Archie artists are really, really bad. Sally and Mina in particular are awfully cute but always get the ****ty-art treatment

Also, Archie put Tekno the Canary in as a cameo in one of their issues, since they have that bull**** alternate dimension thing going on.
