Maybe you have to configure the network firewall to allow those port numbers which are being used by those programs

You can also view network status by typing netstat -a in the command prompt

Do those programs appear in the network status? (type "netstat -a" without the quotes in a command prompt to view)

If something says "YOU HAVE A VIRUS BUY THIS", then it's a virus.

Go to the task manager and look for suspicious EXEs. If it's named something like "notavirus" or "asjdahflsahgha", then it's a virus. Terminate, then search for it on your hard drive, then delete it.

Turn off the computer, then turn it back on. Press F8 when it says "Press F8 for Safe Mode" on the screen. Then, turn it on in safe mode.
Then look around your system and system32 folders for more suspicious EXEs. If it's all good, then you can boot up normally.
