Your list has one that interests me: Pokemon. It did have annoying traits (one bag, bad graphics, etc.) but we would not have one of the world greatest glitches with out it:

i can understand brawl and tp though. twilight wasn't very innovative at all and brawl is just plain boring with neat music overlayed

I found Galaxy boring. The platforming comes in WAY too lead (prior to that it's follow path + point at star bits imo) and the real platforming just feels like a chore given the poor camera and how the controls mesh oddly with it.

I never understood this point of view. Apparently, people who disliked Prime did so because they completely missed the point of Metroid in the first place.

No, I dislike it because each game is a boring peace of **** that I can never get into, no matter how hard I try. Metroid just doesn't appeal to me as an fps, I liked (And enjoyed it) way more as a platformer.
