I have been seeing this in some tutorials, and I just want to know what the heck it means! Could someone please tell me? The only thing I think it means is the object id, but I don't know for sure. Help please!

I'm guessing its a variable that was set by something else.

But I don't know what version of gamemaker you are talking about so I don't know.

variable representing the current loop iteration (ie what value the loop index is on)
