Way better. I've learned a lot from studying various engines, including the UME (but I'm not using it). Remember how there were issues on collisions and movement? Got it fixed up.

And when I say the first mission, it's a test mission (to get used to the controls).
It may or may not be removed in the final version.

The movement's a little messed up, but here is the first demo.

Remember, the real first demo will come on the 26th. This is just a test.

EDIT: Also, the only controls as of this moment are movement and Short-range attacks. I was having trouble with the long range.

-A mask
-Better movement
-more attacks
This was even bad as a test, improve the game by putting the things I listed above and then show me what you got.

Mario and Luigi are now going to be characters. I will also be gathering Mario enemies today. I've decided to shift the focus on having much of the Mario universe, with modified Devil May Cry styled gameplay. There still will be MFGGers and demons/etc., of course.
