Rather than start up a new topic for every question I have, I've decided to use this one topic for all the questions I have regarding how to make the game.

So my first question is:

In the game, there are sometimes objects that home in on Wario (move towards point wario.x,wario.y) but because Wario turns into a seperate object when he's hurt or when he's dead, this can present a rather annoying problem:

CODE
ERROR in
action number 1
of Create Event
for object Bill:

Error in expression:wario.x
position 7: Unknown variable x

Error in expression:wario.y
position 7: Unknown variable y

So how can I make it so that this message doesn't display every time this occurs?

EDIT: This question is now solved.

why would you make seperate objects anyways :\

you could make a parent object for all wario instances and use that for conditions though I dunno why you have multiple ones :V

That's what the engine came with; it works just fine. It saves a lot of confusion when programming.

Simply make another object and set it to constantly be on top of whichever object Wario currently is (it is also invisible of course.) Make all your instances home in on this object instead.
