Does anyone know where I could find the CSS weapon, models?

I've been trying to find them because a majority of GMod servers that have games and crap use these guns, but they appear as errors because I don't have the models. So if someone knows where I could get them, I'd be grateful.


Alternatively, if you have the game, could you zip up the "weapons" folder in C:/program files/Steam/steamapps/*yoursteamname*/counter-strike source/cstrike/models and upload it? I'd love you forever if you did <3

also I already have the textures (Everything in the "materials" folder), so there's no need for them.

Okay so I got my hands on them ans SHOULD have them in the right place and everything but they still are not working. What's going on?

I've gotten the textures to work just fine, but the models are being absolutely pissy. >:E

Maybe use Custom Skins?

I don't see how that would help, because I have the models, but they're not working.

Because the models for the guns other players are holding appear just fine. Before they were pink and black checkers, then I got the textures from the garry's mod website that some retard uploaded, and they appeared just fine.

However, for me the weapons I am holding do not appear, and all I see is a little bit of a big red "ERROR" in the corner. :/

Now that's weird. Does GMod ... send you models other players are using or something?

Have you asked these other players where their models are stored?

I don't understand it either. Yes some models are sent to you but not all. I have no idea how it determines which models to send and which to not but it does.

Also where they are stored is not the problem. I've compared the place I have the models to a custom skin for one of the weapons and they match up perfectly. Yet they still aren't being loaded properly. :/

Is there a file that has to list the models in order to use them?

Oh **** that's probably it. Every game has a GCF file, which has all the files and shiz


I think I MIGHT need that...Which would involve buying the game. :/
