I agree. I believe it is because it is such a dark shade of black when there is no other black. Lightening the colour could help a bit.

I decided it's just warpaint. Also, in the original, there was blood on the axe and splattered on her armour, but I didn't like it much. It's supposed to be more before the battle, I think.

Dang it, I accidentally saved over my original file with layers, though...! Fixing that'll be harder now...
