They're all just stories; if you concede that Zeus and Odin are false, so must their platonic offspring, Jaweh. His name is not "God", as that implies that there is a "Goddess", and furthermore, Christianity muddles things up by saying that Jesus, Jaweh, and the Holy Spirit are separate entities but are the same entity at the same time.

I believe this topic is about Atheistic beliefs, not about arguing about God existing or not. If you are going to argue the existence of God, then please start a new topic. I quite enjoy reading non-muddled topics.

Just because I believe in God it doesn't mean I have to believe in EVERY god. That defeats the purpose of having different religions.

Well, to be honest (and I'm not trying to insult), Christianity is basically a rip-off of every religion that its followers were converted from. It takes Judaism, adds some Norse, Celtic, and Roman (which is a rip-off itself) religions to the mix, and adds a triad instead of one deity.

It's like America, or the English language.

Basically, if you thought, say, D&D was real, but didn't think so about all the folklore which D&D was based on was right. Is that a good example, or am I rambling?
