That was my point. There is always a possibility, for everyone. I can't imagine someone not accepting the possibility.

This is supposed to be a debate among atheists about how life began.

This fits well with all of the other ignorant things I've noticed you say in this topic.

We know how life began. The debate is on why it began that way.

Now you're just splitting hairs and pointlessly trolling.

You can go ahead and point out every stupid thing I've said in this topic. I'm sure you'll find plenty, I say a lot of stupid things. But I don't see how you'll gain anything from it, and I don't see it contributes to the thread at all.

Lady-A already knows the lingo around here. Everybody does this when they lose an argument, especially when it's against an idiot like me, so it's good that she understands it by now.

Pointing out stupid things that one has said is part of debate. If you "say alot of stupid things," don't debate.

Well if you secede, say you secede or something synonymous. Don't cover it up with "Oh, well, this is a dumb argument. It should have never started. It's not my fault, jeez!" I just see it as cowardice through redirecting the blame.

I didn't initiate the agnostic/atheist argument. It was the first person who said "I'm an atheist" and the next person who said "You sound more like an agnostic." My opinion from the beginning was that if you want to call yourself an atheist, go ahead.

Also, ok, you win. I lost the argument. What has anybody gained from it other than sore hands from typing up textwalls?

This is a similar problem to everybody calling me a bloody furry. I am not a bloody furry but the definition of it is by no means consistent or specific, so it's hell on earth to debate the point.

I must disagree. They are silly quotes, surely, but they are still related.

His statement was that atheist and agnostic were such related terms that which to use for someone was up to their preference. He restated this several times by basically claiming that the two were one in the same, with the exception that the term "atheist" sends up red flags among religious groups -- and that agnostics, in comparison, "sit on the fence and suck their thumb" -- figurative language for not being caught up in the religious war.

The third quote was entirely unnecessary, related or not.

Fine. You win on that one. But I do think he said alot of things that were unnecessary to proving his point just to rub salt on the wounds of other parties and inflame the discussion.

I can't argue with that (I said it myself earlier.)
