Attention Atheists.

Evolution is more or less decisively proven and those who honestly don't believe it are likely to be ignorant (or have been mislead to think that Pokémon is an accurate depiction.)

The Big Bang however is still a theory and speculated. It has a basis to it, but hasn't been given much concrete evidence.

Oh I know that there is substantially less proof to big bang theory then Evolution.

of course that's not to say there's no proof (minor swear)

I think you're doing apples and oranges here. Faith is not supposed to not have scientific evidence. That's why it's called "faith". I'm bringing this up multiple times because I think it needs to be affirmed here.

My opinion is that saying that God created the universe is just a different way of saying it, but how life is created is harder to know than that, because it has been so many years since then!

Also in my opinion is that the universe exists because if it didn't exist then it would exist just so that something does exist. That's why the universe exists. It is because it is just meant to be existing, by mathematics and logic. Some important things are missing in formal logic, such as presuppositions and more things.

Many people do not understand evolution theory. That doesn't mean it is wrong. Only many people's idea of it is wrong. Probably it still isn't complete, regardless of which parts of the theory are correct and which aren't.

I don't particularly happen to care about how the universe was created.

There's my stance on it.

Really? Well, I'm not atheist, I am agnostic, but it isn't just because I am sick of being called an atheist. It is because that is my opinion that makes me agnostic! (But in a bit different way than how other people are agnostic)

So, what you're saying is that the Universe has to exist in order for anything to exist at all?

What you just said was extremely confusing.

It is confusing. His theory is similar to mine.

It is possible for the universe to both have existed for all eternity, and to not have. (Yes, that makes no sense.)


If there was any time at all where nothing at all ever existed, then there would also be no rules.

And if there are no rules, then anything can happen. So something probably had to happen, right? Existence blasted into ... existence, out of nowhere. Whether it blasted into existence in any and all periods of time is altogether irrelevant.

I think the big bang is just a cycle.

I am a Catholic and yet I believe in the Big Bang and Evolution theories. Who says God didn't do any of that stuff? I mean, hell, even GOD has to get bored sometime, so he created the universe. The rest followed. People just misinterpreted him or something like that.

I had something typed up that sounded like a ridiculous fanfic, but didn't post it because I think I've made my point.
