Dogs VS Cats, A REALLY old debate

Cats.

Cats. Why? Because they love attention, they're quiet and graceful and don't wake you up with loud barking at early hours, they don't take up a lot of space so you don't have to worry about some big dog being in the hallway. Not only that, it's a hell of a lot easier cleaning up after a cat since they **** inside rather than having to wait for them to sniff and **** in 10 different areas before it's time to go back home.

I used to fear dogs because my aunt's dog wanted to rip my thumb off once and another dog bit me in the stomach. As I grew older I didn't fear them so much anymore but I'll always have a soft spot for cats

Well despite the fact that most cats are dicks that never want attention and will attack you for no particular reason, yeah I like them better. My friend has this cat that absolutely LOVES people and whenever I visit him the cat runs straight to me and it's awesome.

I like the satisfaction of being able to toss a cat across a hallway and it not being able to do anything about it. You just can't do that with a dog.

So cats.

Most of the Dogs I run into are annoying as hell. Not saying I haven't seen annoying cats too but for every snot nosed cat that hates being touched I've met at least five overly enerjetic dogs that won't calm the hell down.

I didn't mean tossing them so hard that they get hurt. Cats always land on their feet after all. I meant like, a cat runs up to my door when I'm going into my room, so I shove it a couple feet away. Wouldn't be able to do that with a big pitbull.

Cats are cute, dogs are butt-kissers, so my vote goes to cats.

It's funny how every kid on the net says I PREFER CATS but IRL I see like... no cats ever ever ever.

Maybe it's because all cats are anti-social pricks that don't show up when I visit anyone.

Cats, definitely.

I'm not really a dog-hater, but there are some basic traits of dogs that I don't like, and I have downright hated some of the individual dogs my family has owned (including the one currently in my home).

Besides, I just get along really well with cats. I once had a cat which started out terrified of people and hissed at me frantically if I even put my hand near her, and over time I turned her into one of the nicest cats ever, at least toward me. That could well have been the strongest bond I've made with a pet ever. Really saddening that she eventually ended up hit by a vehicle....

I take that back, I nudge them out of the way or scare them if I need them to go away.

Cats.

Dogs are vicious, smelly, they eat their own poop and then lick your face, they droll and slobber and they hump anything humpable.

Cats on the other hand are intelligent, they purr and before you say they stink too: you need to learn how to clean your house. My mom has five cats and receives compliments because her house doesn't stink. "Wow, you have five cats? I couldn't tell!"

I prefer cats. They're just smaller and easier to cuddle for the most part

I love both dogs and cats, but I've grown up with cats all my life, so i'll chose cats.

Although it depends a lot on the individual dog or cat you get, since they both vary as much as people do and all that ... I'll have to go with cats.

Cats are more graceful, and they aren't quite as messy. They tend to be more entertaining without requiring much interaction, and they make better noises.



But remember: A dog looks up to you, a cat looks down on you, and only a pig treats you as an equal.

Dogs.

Cat's are Stupid antisocial animals that would scratch you for no apparent reason.

Dogs are intelligent, Happy, social animals that would rather sit with you and maybe lick your face.

I like both, actually. I love cats for how quiet they are and how easy they are to take care of, compared to some dogs. I love how a cat will curl up in your lap and you can sit there and just stroke its fur and it'll love you for it.

Dogs, on the other hand, I love because they're great for keeping children entertained (supposing they're trained or they're just plain good around kids). I also love dogs because they'll protect their master dang near fearlessly.

Of course, I've met both dogs and cats that I absolutely hated.

This is what happens when you mistreat your cat. I've known it to be almost impossible to have a cat with you from the day of their birth and still have them willing to scratch you.
