So, who's taking the MFGG Staff test?

Hey, you're more well-liked than I am, and I'm still trying out the test.

I kinda wanna take the test just to see how well I'd do because I really doubt they'd make me staff.

I'd do it to rid MFGG of recolors, 8-bit versions and other things. >8O

Recolors are ok, but 8-Bit sprites are already considered a style in the site, so people would get angry if you started declining them.

But I don't like them, too.

I'm trying out! I've always liked helping out sites and stuff, or running my site and forum projects, so I may as well shoot for this one too!

Protip: Doesn't matter if people get angry or not. A lot of n00bs get angry if someone even gives C+C against a crappy spritesheet... even if the sheet's not their own.

All that matters is if the submissions are worth hosting on the site, from a sensible and experienced point of view.

They don't rate you on personality or background; they rate based on decision-making and how well you take care of certain situations.

Anyway, with all those 8-bit submissions already on the site, I don't see a reason for stop them.

Also, no one here needs to sounds smarter than everyone else. The test is in the main page, not in this topic. :/

Just because something's already on the site, doesn't mean it really belongs there.

Some things on the site (possibly including some of the 8-bit submissions you speak of) were honestly not good and maybe shouldn't have been accepted. It's just something that happens once in a while.

I just though that if it got already accepted by some QC mod, I suppose I could also accept it aswell.

Well not all the 8-bit things are bad, totally! But some seem silly.

And don't they need a GM dude to control the GM examples? I haven't seen Phage update in a long time so I dunno exactly what's goin down.

Techokami bought GM7 so he's been doing that. Thing is that he's accepted a couple of things that are pretty poor.

Unlike a lot of people here, I actually have a sense of quality control, and I can keep **** off the main site, but, I highly doubt I'm well known or respected to be considered a suitable person to help out with the main site. So, I won't bother. :\

You know what I just don't get about the site? How there's like 2000 sheets of the same sprite or something just because of minor variations like

4-YOSHI'S ***** SHEET COMPLETE WITH MAKE-A-POSE

Why not delete the older and inferior sheet instead of having 5 or 6 versions of the thing?

Are you kidding? I applied for this test, and I'm pretty sure they're all going to laugh their asses off.

Either that or cry that the most hated guy on the forums has the best score. >:(

Or at least update the same sheet. They just do it to make it look like they submit often.

Or better yet compile everything into one large sheet that has everything you'd ever need!
