My twin brother needs iPod help, I'm that nice ^_^

My twin brother doesn't have an MFGG account and I noticed he has been complaining over some iPod problems so I though I could help him. (He has an 80 GB) Here are the problems:

1- He play movies on his iPod. Sometimes in the middle of the movie, the iPod all of a sudden justs goes to the main menu. When he picks that movie again, it starts from the beginning agian. He has to fast forward to 10 seconds after that "bad scene" to enjoy the rest of the film. Does anyone know what's happening?

(Solved) 2- He wants to know a good and free video converter that converts the video into the format that iTunes allows so he could put it into his iPod.

3- Is there a good and free program that can combine and/or splits videos that the videos still can be used for an iPod?

This will make him very happy if there is anyone who can help him.

if the video is less than 5 minutes then you can use Xilisoft Video Converter 3

Srry but I mean full movies like you'd see in a theater

I've heard some people obsess over a program called HJSplit. It's used to split media files, download them in segments, and then combine them again. I do not know if each segment can be played separately, but if so then I think it could be used for an iPod.

So nobody can help us?

Well I would also like to add how can I fix long videos so that they don't go out of sync.

Did you check out HJSplit .. ?

It splits anything and puts it back together ... anything up to like 30 GB.
