I prefer the 1st version of Mario.

if you could somehow make 1's face the size of 2's face without loosing quality i think you would have a winner.

3 is basicaly just 1 with 2's face (it's late and I'm tired >=C)

4 is a bigger edit that uses peices from all of them. I have to admit that I like it the most. But that may be due to the lack of sleep. Also, it is the smallest and best in terms of accurate size.

Okay then you want real crit?

The mustache is way to big. It isn't the shape of Mario's stache, and it just looks out of place. The hat lineart is kinda sloppy, and the stance is boring. Better?

The body looks nice and so do the hands though

Just the stache is so big it throws off the whole sprite

Well sayting the stache is to big is a bit different than saying it looks nothing like him.

As for how he is standing, thats just to get the basic shapes. Chances are, if I make a sheet, he'll never stand like that.

I like the fourth on the best. Personally I like them, except it looks like he's leaning forwards a bit.
