I BEAT MARIO LOST LEVELS WOO

Well technically. I spent the weekend at a friend's and hooked up his Super Nintendo, and proceeded to play such classics as Secret of Mana, Zelda 3, and Shaq Fu.

Of course, the first thing I inserted was Super Mario All-Stars. Being the manly man I am, I instantly picked Lost Levels, started a new game, and the swearing begun. I made it to...4-4 I think, then decided "**** you" and quit to collect some Jiggies. Later I went back and found a saved file on D-4. I went and spent about half an hour and 5 game overs on that and beat it and I was like woo



Also played the Tales of Vesperia demo my friend downloaded whilst watching me fail and it was cool too.

what exactly is D-4?
may i ask? o:

same as 4-4 or something?

When I was about... 9. I get to 8-8 on that game.



then 9-year-old raged cause I got gameover.

World 4, level 4

And in Lost Levels after world 8 there are 4 hidden worlds, labeled A, B, C, and D. They are stupid.

yeah I remember back then I had no idea what the game was I just figured it was another Mario game so I HAD to beat it... but I lost hope on that at the final castle in world 8... and it prolly wasn't "8-8" >.>;

Proooobably 8-4 because generally there are only 4 levels in each world.

wasn't there a part at the start of the castle where you had to jump off an edge and edge back onto a lower cliff? whichever castle that was, ate most of my lives and lead to my eventual defeat :(

idk I haven't played anything between 4-4 and D-4. :X

also I swear if my friend says "lulz" one more time I'm going to hit him

Like seriously he uses that in everyday speech. "I'm watching the marines fight lulz!", "oh man we died, lulz!", "lulz lulz LULZ"

It drives me crazy to no end and I can't say anything or he'll just use it more often ARGH

I've beaten that game before, played through all its levels, too.

A lot of lives were lost in the process, however. And I was stuck on 8-4 for a year because it took me forever to realize how to get through the maze.

Beat the game without using any warp zones.

I've finished it 2 years ago. Without warping.

I cleared the game once in All Stars, but I never played World 9. Maaaany years back.

I never finished it. I think I got hung up on World 8-4.
