Mundorare Contest entry, Warning! Large pictures!

Awesome. Group: Members Posts: 3587 Member No.: 2033 Joined: 23-April 06 Status: (0d)	Hey there, folks! (I really do start all my posts that way, don't I?) Believe it or not, I don't spend all of my spare time working on PBW. GASP! I know, it's hard to believe, isn't it. Well anyway, I decided to enter the Mundorare concept art contest. Of course, I just had to make a papercraft, so I decided to go for a rather traditional approach. I made Banjo and Kazooie! And of course, being based on Nuts & Bolts, Kazooie has the Magic Wrench, too. The figure is about a foot tall total, but Banjo alone is about 6 1/2 inches tall. His head and shoulders turn, and his knees and elbows bend. Pretty darn cool, huh? I just finished it this afternoon, and the deadline is tonight. Boy, I cut that a little close, didn't I? Oh, and thanks to my mom for holding him up in the pictures! -------------------- Feel like drawing good 'ol Toodles the Horse? Well, you might want a ref! Heh, just kidding. Yeah, I decided to show off my games and artwork on here still, even though I'm still staying off the rest of the boards. The fact is, I love to show my creations to others, and this is the best spot I could come up with right now!

Actually, that's why I decided to do this. I thought the blocky style would be quite easy to replicate with paper.

...for the record, it was. Problem is I went a little overboard with the details and almost drove myself crazy! THOSE STUPID HANDS TOOK FOREVER!
