Mario runs without arms

I personally like how the animation worked out, but I dislike the sprite itself. What is your opinion, MFGG?

I just don't like how the body bounces faster than the head. Maybe because it doesn't have arms. It'll probably be different once he has them.

I agree. The animation looks good, though I think that his legs shouldn't sit perfectly still for so long; try moving them just a tiny bit for each hanging frame?

Looks good, 'cept it looks like he's prancing. As stated, it might be because of the lack of arms.

To be perfectly honest, I really don't like this sprite at all.

The further leg seems to be longer than the closer leg (which isn't right AT ALL even accounting for perspective), and the closer leg, when moving forward, seems to bend the wrong way for a little bit. Really pops out at me and bugs me a lot.

Compared to the rest of him, the face also seems to lack contrast.

The "belly jiggling" is also pretty bad too.

I dunno. It might just be me.

There are too many frames of his legs stretched out, which makes it look like he's leaping. But the sprite itself is really good.

Well, considering I haven't sprited anything serious in about 5 months, It seems appropriate.
