Hammer bros, jumping plants, and a (accepted), preview

Well hello again, with another SMW Redrawn attempt.
Credit goes to Icegoom, for the original sprites, and concept of the sprites.
I have Hammer Bros, Boomerang Bros, Jumping Plants, and a preview of Sledge bro.

Who cares. We can see the image can't we?

Anyway, the spritesheet needs some work. It's really pillowshaded, and the colors don't really make any sense. Fix it up and it could be promising.

How is this abuse?

The attachment system is there for a reason. Using it to upload site submissions is probably one of the main reasons it even exists.

You tried to follow Icegoom's style, huh? I can tell, but it doesn't have the charm his work does. You pillowedshaded a bit more than he ever did, and the largest Hammer Bro sprite has awful shading. I'd try to take the colors you have now and shade the sprite accordingly, and give it a bit more volume. Right now, it's pretty flat. The animations aren't half bad though, and I'll have to credit you for attempting a pretty hard style. Keep practicing!

Not entirely bad. The only real things I don't like about it are that the right (in perspective of the Hammer Bros) eye is covered too much and yes, pillow shading. I personally think this is a much worse case of pillow shading because you have a light green, then a dark turquoise, which looks really bad. It gives it WAY too much depth.

They look a bit weird but I like em!
