We had one before, but it didn't really get off the ground. Because MFGG. Not to mention countless other tournies. The problem is probably the fact that NOBODY EVER COMMITS TO IT. On this Smash-centered website I go to, most online tournaments held take place on one day because it's all organized and every match takes place in one day. So why can't we do that? Although most of the gaming tournaments we've had follow a more lax, "do it whenever the hell you want" policy, they hardly ever get finished. I honestly can't remember the last time we finished something like this. It was probably Nightwing's eight man tourney he had a while back, and maybe the Melty Blood tourney, which was again, pretty small.
So with that little rant aside, anybody interested in a Brawl team tournament? I'll even allow some items, since team matches get a bit more interesting with them thrown in the mix. Item rules are downright hard to follow online, though
I'm gonna look for an ample amount of players. Say four teams at the least, until I make an official date to hold the tourney on. If an inconvenience comes up for a fair amount of participants, I'll just go by the "play whenever you want" policy, but the deadline will be strict and short in order to get things rolling.
Here are the rules I was thinking about

3 Stock Each Items On: Containers, Beam Sword, Blast Box, Freezie, Green Shell, Lip's Stick, Mr. Saturn, Screw Attack, Spring, Star Rod, Unira, Warp Star, Motion Sensor Bomb Friendly Fire ON (team matches are boring without this) 8 Minute Time Limit Best 2 out of 3 for each round You can change your characters freely between each match
Legal Stages:
Neutral Stages:
These stages are always picked for the first match in every set. They can be picked randomly or a specific one can be picked if both parties agree.
Battlefield Final Destination Yoshi's Island (Brawl) Lylat Cruise Smashville Castle Siege Pokemon Stadium 1
Counterpick Stages:
These stages can be picked by the losers of the last game in a set. For example, team B loses the first match in a set of 3. They can choose one of these stages to play on, or pick a neutral stage, for the second match.
