So, basically, this is my proposal. Some members of the MFGG community make topics for their mains with a tutorial (as brief as you'd like, but must contain the minimum). Then other members who main the same character could contribute and add information to the tutorial using other posts. This way we can give an informative description and list of tactics and strategies for all of the characters. This, of course, is just my idea of how to do it. I would love any constructive criticism/suggestions to improve on this. Also, I would like to know how many people would be willing to participate in making a tutorial for their main. If I get at least 4 other people who will make a tutorial for different characters (No Lucases, I'm doing him ), then I think it could kick it off. Then, hopefully, other people will make char tutorials. Otherwise, there's not much point in doing it. If this is successful, could we sticky these tutorials, or add a new section dedicated to Brawl tutorials? (I may be being too ambitious with that one) So, yeah, that's my proposal. Yay or Nay? ----------------------- Aim 1: To recruit five tutorial-makers. (Complete) Requirements: 1. To recruit five tutorial members (check) Aim 2: To post at least two complete prototutorials on the Wii Discussion board. Requirements: 1. Two complete tutorials. (1 complete) 2. At least ten incomplete tutorials. (Check) 3. At least 20 votes for 'yes' on the poll. (Check) When I say complete, I mean Background, Moveset, Strategies and Matchups. We have 11 Incomplete Tutorial(s)MetaknightToon LinkBowser KirbyIke (Pip Bernadotte)(Ryoga)OlimarSonicSnakeFalcoLucario (Parakarry and C0nker)We have 1 Complete Tutorial(s)Lucas (Part 1)(Part 2)Please could people put a ref to this page in their signature like mine to get more people interested This post has been edited by Nintendan on Aug 26 2008, 08:22 AM

Character Tutorial layout <Character name> Tutorial - Character background (optional at this stage) - Character Moves (damage %ages optional, but we really need to add these in) - Techniques - Advanced Techniques (?) - Vs. Character (Individual tactics against particular characters) EDIT: Sorry for double post, forgot that rule This post has been edited by Nintendan on Aug 4 2008, 04:24 PM

Bro got done early, so I can get Meta Knight's done!
Meta Knight Tutorial
-He's Kirby's rival and tutor. Meta Knight is the sword-oriented puffball of Popstar, and has the mask to show he means business. It's been shown he must be the same species as Kirby, just probably older and wiser. -Meta Knight has a arrangement of moves. Holding down the A button causes him to swing his sword around him, it deals 2% per hit, and dies down to 1% after 3 hits due to the spam rule. The Mach Tornado (B) does 1% per hit, plus 3% hit at the end. It captures opponents and can trap them in the vortex. You can move the tornado, and go up and down. The Drill Rush (Side B) does 1% per hit, and can vary at when you use it and where it hits your opponent. It can be aimed up or down while moving. Dimensional Cape (Down B) can do 14# if landed. You disappear then reappear to strike, but you are not invincible when invisible. Use the control stick to help get your aim down, but you can't travel really far with it. Shuttle Loop (Up B) does 9% at the fist strike, plus an extra 12% if you can land a hit while gliding. He knocks the opponent upwards and starts gliding. His throws rack as follows: Down throw 11%, front 10%, behind 9%, and above 10%. Side Smash does 12%, bottom does 11%, up does 9%. Final Smash does 40% to the main target, 18% to the others. -Meta Knight is a quick, close combat specialist. None of his attacks are long range, unless you consider his Final Smash. His attacks are also very weak, and must be used in combos to rack up damage quickly. The Mach Tornado is an easy and effective way to sweep up an opponent, and can phase through certain attacks tried while you're doing it. His Drill Rush can serve a similar purpose. While using these "Move Breakers" can work, you defiantly should not rely on it only. Meta Knight can also be very deadly with a fan due to his speed. Dodging is highly suggested, because like Kirby, Meta Knight can easily be knocked away due to his weight. -When Meta Knight faces a long range opponent (such as Snake), you'll have to use dodging and speed to catch up and keep up with them without being blown away. Close range opponents Meta Knight should have a fairly easy time to defeat due to his rapid fire moves and the Breakers. Just continue combos with them, and show them who's got the speed. Heavy Powerful characters would appear out sped, but caution must be used or you will be smacked away. Just pick the moments to strike them, and you can rush them due to slow reaction time. All-Around characters provide trouble, for they can defend against you up close and still get at you far away. Just dodge around and be patient, or you will be beaten. (Curse you Lucas!)
That's what I got on Meta Knight so far. I might add more to it. Actually, I need to add more. Give me a bit.
