The art style is interesting (I like how the colours are "off-center"), but maybe you can throw on some shadows or somethiing to make it seem a little less, uhh... lacking.

I drew it with a drawing tablet, then I duplicated it, removed the black outlines, and pasted it to the South-East of the original picture.

And yes it's a flyingman from earthbound.
