its a good lineart but its very pillow shaded

I like it. The round hands are a bit weird (I thought Shy Guys had long sleeves without any sort of hand) but other then that, it looks fine.

First of all, welcome!

Second, don't feel bad about it not looking good, cause it's not bad for a beginner. To tell you the truth, that's a lot better than my first sprite =]

You can either go look up some tutorials on pixeling or just ask anybody around here. Everyone will help.

Wow, that's pretty good for a first. Some suggestions would be to make the shoes bigger and to use a different method of shading, but other than that, this doesn't look like a first at all.

It's cute with its round hands!

Not bad for a first. The rounded hands look like basic hands from a flash movie, I would fix them. That, and it looks pillow shaded. Other than that, it's great!

Good try! It's a great first sprite! The only thing I think you should change is that it's pillow-shaded. The round hands are odd to, and at some points the line-art is a little jagged. Good job!
